Don’t all post at once now It’s a interesting board with Windows 98 to Windows 10 support, but let me go through my experiences with it so far. I still have the board, but it’s not in use. One day the board just up and died.

All-in-all, it is rather interesting board and we see how well it will overclock. If I have power-saving turned on hard drive or monitor power-down after so many minutes of inactivity then the computer locks up when it enters energy-saving mode ie when the screen goes into hibernation. After messing with various drivers, here’s what I get: Love those Asrock boards Posted April 1, They should be able to do those timings at that voltage.
Pretty stable board when you find the right BIOS settings, but it underperforms clock-for-clock compared to most other boards.

Same goes with the PCI Express bus, anything above creates problems. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. So beware, you really need to use the Windows flasher and NOT latest 775dial-vsta but v4. Nonetheless, performance does not seem to suffer noticeably.

Those boards and their variants are absolutely horrible when it comes to 775dual-vsfa, no matter how much tweaking I’ve done with the settings in the BIOS it seems to make almost no difference and sometimes actually hurts stability.
Current unofficial bios version is 3. Hopefully some more members here can chime in with their experiences.
In my personal opinion, running quad’s is not worth it because of the FSB hit and few of the games supporting quad cores. Sign In Sign Up.

Last edited by jordi on The board does carry memory and AGP voltages, but following ASRock tradition, expect a selection toggle between ‘Normal’ and ‘High’ with no actual values.
This results in a noticeable performance drop in graphics, but is easily remedied by re-booting your PC again. Despite the mainboard have 4 stolen caps from CPU VRM and not a single bottom sided under CPU socket cap where are place for two of them and I have not do yet any mods to it, it run chioset stable and reliable for me.
